Jackson Maloney is a singer-songwriter and poet based in Hygiene, Colorado. Originally from Northern California, he moved out to the front range of the Rocky Mountains in 2012 to attend college at CU Boulder. During his sophomore year, an Intro to Creative Writing class inspired him to take his writing and songwriting more seriously. He set himself on a creative path with the qualities of his musical idols in mind: the conviction of Bob Dylan and the empathy of Johnny Cash. His music draws influence from Folk, Western, Americana, Rock, Blues, Country and nameless other genres.
